According to The mirror ,  Muhammed Awal Mustapha , who goes by Mompha Jr., is the world’s youngest billionaire. Two dead, many houses destroyed in gas tanker explosion in Delta State

Two persons have been burnt beyond recognition and over 30 houses and properties worth millions of naira were destroyed in a gas explosion in Ohoror community, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State on Thursday. The explosion was said to have occurred when a granite truck rammed into a stationary tanker laden with Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) at Ohoror junction axis of the East/West road at about 3:00 a.m when residents of the community were still asleep. But Police Public Relations Officer, Delta Command, DSP Bright Edafe, said he could only confirm the death of one person, and the destruction of property worth a fortune. An indigene of the community, Mr Dennis Israel, said the granite truck was headed towards Port Harcourt from Ughelli when the driver lost control and rammed into the tanker. Ekiti PDP Primary: Security Agents Arrest 500 Armed Thugs LATEST NEWSNEWS

  Joint security forces comprising Military personnel (Soldiers) and Police Force have arrested over 500 armed thugs at Ita Awure/Efon Junction at about 3 am on Wednesday, which was allegedly going to Ekiti from Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.  They were in many vehicles before there were intercepted at Ita Awure/Efon Junction by Soldiers and Police personnel, and were believed to be members of Oyo state Park Management System (PMS It was alleged that the arrested armed thugs were said to be heading to Ekiti to disrupt the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Primary Election, in other to prevent the emergence of a certain candidate for the 2022 governorship election. During the stop and search by the joint security forces, the alleged PMS members were caught with dangerous weapons like guns, machetes, charms and many other armful objects. 900 year old sword dating back to the Crusades found at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea

An Israeli amateur diver found a large, 900-year-old sword dating back to the Crusades at the bottom of Mediterranean Sea last week, Israeli  researchers said  on Monday. The diver, identified as Shlomi Katzin from Atlit, Israel, discovered the weapon on Saturday among other artifacts on the Mediterranean seabed, including ancient stone anchors, other anchors made of metal, and pottery fragments, according to the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA). The sword has a blade over 39 inches long and a hilt measuring nearly 12 inches, and it likely once belonged to a crusading knight. Katzin brought the sword ashore after fearing it could be further buried under the sea's shifting sands. He then reported his find to the IAA and was given a certificate of appreciation for "good citizenship," an IAA spokesperson said. 15-year-old Girl Commits Suicide Over Poor Exam Results, Leaves Note With Names - Crime - Nairaland

15-year-old girl who sat her Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) at Bwikya Muslim Primary School in Hoima City in western Uganda last year, has committed suicide after she reportedly performed poorly, NaijaCover Reports. Relatives told police that Daphine Kimuli disappeared from home three days ago after Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) on July 16, 2021 released last year's PLE results in which she scored aggregate 25. Her family’s efforts to find her proved futile. However, her body was found hanging on a jackfruit tree near her home in Bwikya ward in Hoima East division on Wednesday, July 21, by a 35- year-old neighbor, said Mr Julius Hakiza, the Albertine regional police spokesperson, NaijaCover Reports.
