Confusion as Policeman Accidently Shoots Colleague Dead On Their Way To Collect N20k Bribe

The tragic incident occurred around 6:00 pm by ADP along Ibusa Road at Ibusa in the Oshimili North Local Government Area of the state. Rio Cooper, 8, left fighting for his life and spent five days in a medically induced coma at the Major Trauma Centre at Sheffield Children's Hospital. Newly-married man jailed for six months over internet fraud

EFCC secures jail terms for fraudsters in Lagos, Ogun, Osun A newly wedded man, Azeez Bamidele, was, on Wednesday, sentenced to six months in prison by an Ikeja Special Offences Court in Lagos State for internet frauds. Justice Mojisola Dada sentenced Bamidele after he had pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of fraudulent documents proffered against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Delivering judgment during the virtual proceeding, the judge said, “The defendant, having pleaded guilty, is convicted as charged. He is hereby sentenced to six-month imprisonment, starting from March 18, 2020 when he was first remanded by this court. Mother, son jailed three years for $82,570 internet fraud

The convicts, according to the EFCC acting spokesperson, Tony Orilade, were arrested following a petition from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) against Damilola Adeyeri and others now at large on an alleged case of conspiracy, obtaining under false pretence, money laundering and computer-related fraud.
