Some hours ago, a 22 year-old girl named Ife was reported to have been murdered by a couple staying at leme, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

According to reports, the 22 year-old lady was allegedly murdered by the couple because her boyfriend instructed them to do so. Speaking with the press was the landlord of the couple who said, "they told me it was smoked fish but what we saw was several parts of the girl's body."

The landlord explained that he doesn't stay in the house where the body of the deceased was found. He said those in the community were the ones who phoned and informed him of the odour being perceived from the room. When he heard this, he the traditional chief and some agile men in the community. Immediately the couple arrived, they were questioned about the odour oozing from the room they rented. In no time, the couple showed the landlord the basin the girl's hands, intestines and other parts were kept.

The sister to the deceased named Comfort said she didn't inform her when leaving the house. She narrated that a friend to he deceased was the one who told her the 22 year-old girl went to visit a woman who promised to settle the dispute she had with her boyfriend. Unknown to her that the woman and her husband were the ones her boyfriend informed on using her for money ritual.

As it stands, the couple are in custody of the law enforcement officers in Abeokuta, Ogun state. It is noteworthy to remind you all at this point that this is the second time people will be caught for murdering for ritual purpose in Abeokuta. The last one was when about four young boys were caught with the head of a young girl being roasted in an uncompleted building.
